[TSVN] Feature request - cache log messages

I know it's been talked about before, but up until now I've only ever
worked on a local repository, so access speeds were nice and fast. Now
that I'm doing some work over the internet, though, fetching logs is
painfully slow compared to what I'm used to.

So. Can we please have some sort of clever log-message-cache? I
realise that it's possible to edit log messages after the fact (though
I've never felt the need to, and am of the opinion that people should
simply correct their error in a subsequent revision rather than edit log
history).

What other issues are there regarding this?

If it's considered a nice-to-have, could we file an issue for eventual
implementation?

Pete
