If you monitor the Subversion dev mailing list you'll see that a patch
is currently under review and heavily worked on. So my guess is that it
will be finished soon.

Yes. Once 'svn ls' returns the locking information, we don't have to
fetch that information on startup anymore because we get it 'for free'
when we show the folder contents.

I don't think so. And that's not up to me to decide but for the guys
working on the Subversion project. If you really need a date, you should
ask them.

I think the FAQ will be updated soon - there are many people reading
this list who have write access for our FAQ ;)
