Hm, I didn't read the docs, at least not at this point 8-)

Ok, that explains the behaviour

but then, as I mentioned in first post, the explanatory text (in the
dialog) should be placed on a more prominent place, preferably to the
right side of the grayed-out show log button and only while "use from
url" is checked.
