You win. :-) Sorry for placing the blame.

I hate having any icons on my desktop, I move Recycle Bin under My Computer
every time I setup windows. Unfortunately I had totally forgotten about it
lately as a result... It was only at 11GB.

That has nothing to do with TSVNCache! Empty your trashbin and the delay
of the progress dialog will be gone.
