That's the fate of background images if the foreground isn't transparent...

Steve was a bit too quick by introducing the background images for the docs
:-) For the time being, I'll leave them in the background, but my plan is
still to create smaller turtl^Wtortoises which can be used in doc page
headers instead of the background.

I'm not too fond of having them in the doc background too, for the same
reason as others, but I like Charlie in the web page's background.
