I'm confused. I really don't know why this happens if you don't use a
proxy and it works with the previous version.

Hmmm - Do you have a firewall installed? I mean some firewalls discover
that an exe has changed and then refuse that program network access.

So, please check your firewall (if you have any installed) and tell it
to allow TSVN network access. In case you're using XP SP2: you have a
firewall installed automatically, so make sure to configure it correctly.

P.S. please check your mail client about the settings when quoting
mails. It's almost impossible to find out what you wrote and what you're
quoting!
