I have been getting this also but I'm nor sure whether it's a bug or not.
It seems to happen when you in the branch you switching from have folders which
do not exist in the the branch you switching to and you in those
folders have unversioned
files.
We have for instance the result from the c# compiler in unversioned
files in (almost) every folder.
