I don't have an introduction either. But all depends on what you want to
use gettext for. We don't use gettext itself for TSVN, only the po/pot
files and the tools to handle them. Mainly because poEdit is a very good
tool for translators (merging in changed pot files, automatic
translations of slightly changed strings, dictionary, ...). We then use
the translated po files with our own tools to use the translated strings
in our project (resource dll or docbook docs).
