I know it has been discussed to death, I just do not like it.

Couldn't the settings page perhaps have some option that registers
additional icons for added and locked? This could add the extra registy
entries as well as trigger the shell overlay handler to use those icons
instead of the fall backs.

We could be a good citizen by default, but still allow users of just TSVN
to get these features.
