[TSVN] Bug report: toirtoisesvn handling of syntax errors in properties

From: Rodolphe Arthaud <arthaud_at_q-labs.fr>
Date: 2005-04-19 16:23:51 CEST

Windows: XP

TortoiseSVN 1.1.5, Build 2990, UNICODE

Subversion 1.1.4,

apr 0.9.5

apr-iconv 0.9.5

apr-utils 0.9.5

berkeley db 4.2.52

neon 0.24.7

OpenSSL 0.9.7e 25 Oct 2004

zlib 1.2.2

Bug description: I tried to add a couple of svn: properties to a file and
entered a dummy (illegal) value:

svn:keywords with value qsfdqsfqsf

svn:eol-style with value qsfdqsfqsf

It becomes impossible to commit (because svn returns an error about the
incorrect syntax of eol-style), but it also becomes impossible to correct
the property via tortoise, because the property tab is unavailable after the
failed commit (tortoise does not seem to recognise the file as being
versionned), though an attempt to Add the file confirms it is already
svn-managed.

Workaround: remove or move the file and update folder to recover previous
version.

Regards (and congratulations for the whole thing)

Rodolphe
