[TSVN] slow log messages

Hi there

I seem to be having the same problem as this guy:

We are interested in using Subversion as a general document versioning tool (i.e. office docs, etc.). Clearly, we are not starting our repository with a clean slate: we have several thousand files going into the initial import. I saw the work around that you suggested to Paul, however this doesn't work well for us, since - initially - we don't even have any revisions to "buffer" us from this behavior.

Wouldn't it make more since to allow the user to turn off caching of the files that were changed in each revision? I would much rather see the log messages immediately, but the files by revision only on demand.

Since we have to wait around 30s for the log messages to show, this is a fairly critical problem. Otherwise, an excellent tool!

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
John
