In that case, the dialog still behaves inconsistently.

Navigating to the "Show Log" button and pressing ENTER actually opens
the "Show Log" dialog. It doesn't close the current "update" dialog.

I think that usually the ESCape key dismisses a dialog (by invocation of
any feature that will cancel it's existence). Space/Enter usually does
whatever it is that the focused button/control is set to do, don't they?
