[TSVN] Problems with international characters?

Hi!

I have installed subversion 1.1.3 on a RH 9.0 server and run one W98 and one XP with Tortoise SVN version 1.1.3.2502.

If I add a file on the XP PC with a file name containing the international letter 'ø' Tortoise SVN works just fine. When I do the same on the W98 PC Tortoise SVN claims the file is already versioned. When I remove the 'ø' adding the file works just fine.

It looks like there has been some problems with international characters in previous versions but since it worked on XP I thought this was fixed? Is it a problem with Tortoise SVN or subversion?

I do not subscribe to this list so please respond also to my mail address.

Arne
