No. I think every user can easily see why nothing happens. Diffing
against a missing file - should be obvious why nothing happens.

Sorry, but that would just clutter the whole UI with even more settings.
I mean Windows has such an UI already (which btw most users don't even
know about or don't know how to use it).

It's not that what I don't like. It's the application that starts! If
you have a somewhat slow computer with not much memory, this can hog
your system for some time. That's what I don't like, not that I don't
know why I have to wait.
