You should use the repository browser for that. Reason: you don't really
have a working copy of that 'source' you want to tag anymore, so you
have to rely on the repository anyway.

The dialog now looks a little different than in 1.1.3:
There's no checkbox anymore but three radiobuttons:
- Branch/Tag directly on the server (HEAD revision)
- Branch/Tag the working copy
- Branch/Tag from the revision _____
