Agreed. Performance is way better than the internal version. The main
issues are that it sometimes gives misleading results, which might cause
a flood of questions on the list if we release it in its current state.

I thought he said he had no time at the moment and was 'letting go' so
that someone else (I wonder who?) could take it on.

BTW. Now that you have fixed the 2 infinite loop problems, should the
cache auto-start again?
