Hm, I kind of just assumed it would be, since they seem to be putting
a zealous amount of energy into versioning metadata.

Now that you mention it, I'm not even sure that log messages and
author fields are a part of this effort, even though it seems more
useful than some of the stuff they're metadata-versioning now.

Never mind then.
I'll apply brain before fingers next time I feel like punching out a
statement like that =).

Just re-read that sentence.
Yes, a combined dialog would clean up the double-click interface.
Removing the dependency on where on the selected line a click is made
would be nice, IMHO.

Sounds good to me, but then again, I probably won't be using the
hotkeys anyway once there's a menu entry for it. Opinions? From
someone who uses the hotkeys? :-)

I'm on it.

Do you want a separate issue for the "add missing context menu stuff",
or should I wait and see if a consensus is made on changing the
double-click semantics before filing this?
