We have a problem when we try to 'show log' from the context menu. The
Stop on Copy checkbox is not enabled by default. Since we have rolled
out svn only recently, the number of log messages are very few, and
the first log message is huge - it lists all the files imported
initially. This is close to 30000 files. So the data to be transferred
is huge. This is causing show log to take too long.

I thought a workaround for this would be to import the data into a
"staging_area" of the repository and then copy it to "trunk". Then we
can tell all our users to use the stop-on-copy option to prevent
getting the huge first log data. But this workaround seems to be
useless now because the option is not default.

How can it be made default?

thanks again...
