Sure! We just have to make it so it won't even compile in release mode.
Otherwise it might slow down the cache?

Or: I was thinking of making the cache put an icon in the systray,
showing some statistics like cached files, number of modified/normal/...
files, memory usage, ... - of course the systray icon could be disabled
if not needed/wanted. Then, we could add there a "debug" option to show
that tree.
