Not the whole truth: yes, Subversion stores the auth data there. But
TSVN will store the auth data (on Win2k and later) in the registry under
HKCU\Software\TortoiseSVN\auth\, and of course it will be stored
encrypted. The encryption is done with the windows cryptoAPI, so it's as
secure as Windows itself ;)

Oh, and no need to reply to this guy: the spamgourmet mail won't reach
him AFAIK.
