FYI... There are some very good interactive visual RegEx designers
listed at http://weblogs.asp.net/cosgood/archive/2003/06/19/9013.aspx .
RegexDesigner.NET and The Regex Coach look very good; both are free for
non-commercial use. I use the one built into ActiveState's Komodo, but
that IDE is expensive unless you can get an employer to pay for it. :)

Designers such as these that let you inspect which groups match what in
real-time are invaluable when designing regexes.
