The same as it's done at the moment, you cannot except by proir
knowledge or by inference.
So any folder remaining yellow after the one(s) below toggle are not
versioned.
I had contemplaited the notion of hooking the explorer window to get
it's size and position and putting a tranlucent overlay over the folders
which gradualy gets peeled away as the update proceeds.

Beyond my ability though.
