[TSVN] Rename command and the log

From: Christian Gütter <news_at_guetter.org>

Hi,

I have got a problem renaming files using TortoiseSVN 1.1.2.
When I rename a file using TSVN's "Rename", I have to commit
the renamed file and it is treated like I file that has just
been added. When using TSVN's "Show log", only the last log message
is shown and all log messages that had existed prior to the insert
seem to have vanished. I had expected that the old log messages would
have been retained after a rename.

So is there a way to retain them?
Sorry if this is a RFTM question, but I am new to SVN/TSVN and I am
having problems accessing the TSVN website in order to read or
download the docs.

BTW, I am using SVN 1.1.1 (Windows).

Thanks in advance for you answers.

With kind regards,

Christian
