1. the log message can only be changed it the appropriate hook script
is installed on the server. Otherwise that attempt will fail.
2. TSVN can do this already: hold down the shift-key and doubleclick
on the log message in the top view.
3. I don't like the idea of providing a non-hidden UI for that,
because it's something that shouldn't be done easily.
