[TSVN] "Compare with working copy" issues

From: Thomas Sullivan <one4k4_at_yahoo.com>

[Note: This seems to be an issue when I try to
"compare with working copy" only on the *beginning* of
a branch, it's first log message.]

When I view the log messages for a directory and right
click an old revision on that directory and select
"Compare with working copy" [HEAD of this branch, many
revisions from the one I right clicked] TortoiseMerge
opens.

Which makes sense.

What doesn't seem to suit is the dialog box that says
"C:\documen~1....\temp\svn6.tmp.diff is not a valid
text file!"

I recently upgraded both SVN and Tortoise to the 1.1.2
versions.

I seem to remember TortoiseMerge starting with a
"patch files" box floating over the diff window. This
used to work great for seeing what's been done on all
files in a branch from rX to rY.

It *was* a much better alternative to say.. WinDiff.
:)

Thoughts?

-Thomas
