[TSVN] OT: Visual C++

Hi,

Since I have discovered a bug in the build.bat file, I feel like I can
ask an offtopic question without getting Steve angry hahaha :)

In my life I have developed in a lot of languages, from Clipper to
VB/C#.NET including C, Pascal, Delphi and VB. But I have never
understood the way (unmanaged) Visual C++ works. Is there any
**really** good book to learn Visual C++, or MFC, or whatever is
needed to make a (complex) program in C++?

I'm asking this from the point of view of somebody that already makes
programs in Windows and, thus, knows what Win32 Handlers and threads
are, and also knows what's the difference between a class and an
object, and knows what an interface is, but does not really know if a
DLL should be single-thread or multi-thread or if COM wants this or
that... you know: lastly I've done a lot of quick-and-dirt VB / VB.NET
programming ;)

I really don't want a book that explains me what a class is, or that
every sentence in C++ ends with a semi-colon.

Your comments are welcome :)

Best regards,

Fernando Najera
