I'm not sure, but I think they can be ASCII (but not UTF8). The reason
they're UNICODE is simple: I first changed the registry to manualy
register the COM-object, then I exported those registry keys from
RegEdit32.exe - they're then saved as UNICODE. So that's why those
templates are in UNICODE...
