Yes, contacting the repository was an issue.

Good work :-) You have been busy this weekend.
One thing missing here which the commit dialog _does_ give you is the
list of unversioned files/folders which might need to be added.

Neither the commit dialog nor the new "check for modifications" dialog
differentiate between files and folders. You could use the old DOS
method of showing folders as [FolderName], or maybe those lines in a
different font style. But if it slows things down then it is probably
not a worthwhile addition.
