Yes, you may but shouldn't - the mail filters do not work if you use
"Global Inbox" and have them set for "Local Folders'. Yes, that means
you should set the same filters for every account you use - I have
more than 8. Annoying at best.

On the other hand Gmail enabled SPOP access recently.
