Can you reproduce the working copy that caused this? The effect may not
be the same every time, but a good symptom would be the rogue commit
date in SubWCRev. Any additional information on how to reproduce this
would be helpful.

Stefan, I am wondering if this is the same bug, but that it is an
uninitialised pointer instead of a null one. That would explain why Ken
saw a silly commit date one time and had a complete crash another.

I assume SubWCRev is not linked to crashrpt.dll, so we cannot prove this
so easily, but it would be worth following up on.
