To get around the fact that Norton av is nothing but brainless binary
dribble which does little more than occupy massive amounts of system
resources here is what I do.

I setup my source controlled projects to be inside a specific folder on a
specific location on my system. I then set that brainless dribble called nav
to ignore everything inside that "source controlled" folder.
