That only works if you can be absolutely sure that the program you start
(e.g. the external text editor) is closed correctly. If that program
crashes, you won't get a notice about the program being closed.
Also, that would mean that TSVN has to stay loaded/kept running the
whole time. That might be ok if you have more RAM than you really need,
but e.g. on my laptop there's no way I would want that!
