Uh, yes there is, I used it many times. A long time ago I even
reported a bug when it didn't take into account the specified
revision.
Anyways, since it seems I can't explain it properly, I attached two
screenshots taken when I rightclick on a nonversioned folder. That's
the export dialog I'm talking about.

PS: I know what nonrecursive does and I use it to checkout the tsvn
and svn trees (not only trunk) to be able to view the log messages :).
