I suppose there's a problem showing something sensible in the middle
pane for multiple changes, but I can't see a logical reason why when two
revs are selected in the top pane you couldn't have cumulative diffs available
for files in the bottom pane.

Anyway by selecting a single file in the first place at least there is a
route to what I was looking for.
