I think that's because the nightly builds are stored (at least the
source) not on a Windows host, therefore a checkout from the repository
sets the LF lineendings (native is the default). Maybe we should set the
  linendings to CRLF? Or just leave it? I mean the official releases
will have the correct lineendings, because they're built on my machine
here ;)
