Hi,
I think FILELIST can be necessary in certain cases (where very
detailed log messages are required [1]) and also, having the file list
can help when you have to put details about changes in the committed
files.

Actually ... i don't think i'd need anything else except FILELIST,
maybe formatting options for each item in the FILELIST :)
