[TSVN] ignoring twice

I had to add some XML features to a web project, but since the code
isn't mature yet I decided to ignore the whole /page_statics/xml folder.
Doing this I used the "Ignore" command in TortoiseSVN (which works
fine), but (unfortunately) doesn't confirm that the operation succeeded.
After a while I noticed that the svn:ignore property of page_statics
folder contained two "xml" strings. I remembered using the command twice
(the first time I wasn't quite sure that the Ignore command was properly
performed due to the confirmation-message absence).
Therefore here are two suggestions: (1) shouldn't Tortoise display some
sort of confirmation that a folder (or file) has been added to the
ignore list? And (2) is it possible to avoid a double (or triple, as a
quick check confirmed) entry in the ignore property?
