you asked on the subversion list if there is a method to check the type
of a repos.
Now you removed the complete code for checking, why?
if an user uses the bdb in svn 1.1 the message is still valid, isn't it?
I'm also often impatiently, but waiting for an answer from the
subversion guys would be better in this case i think

but thanks for fixing the other issues so fast, that could not always be
assumed.
