I usually prefer the original version too, and TortoiseSVN is not an
exception. After testing the translation I'll switch back to English myself.
But since I have some friends that will appreciate an Italian translation, I
thought that it would be a nice idea.
In this sense any help to improve the translation quality is very
appreciated.

I'm from Ticino, indeed. I live in Personico, near Biasca.
