Update and other commands don't just work on folders, but also on files.
Also, you can select multiple files/folders in the explorer and then
execute the update. What should the dialog title read then?
If it would only be for a single folder, it could be done though.

I know. I forgot to add a patch which I usually had applied to the
subversion source. But it is in the Subversion 1.1.x branch applied, so
the next release will be as fast as ever.

Select the file, right-click, select "properties" (not in the TSVN
submenu but in the explorer context menu). Then, in the dialog which
shows up, go to the subversion tab. There you can see all the
information about a versioned file you will need (and which is available!).
