Thanks Stefan, but what if I don't have a proxy server?

1) I checked the IE network/proxy setting and none is configured. (FYI,
we also don't have the Windows firewall turned on if that matters.)

2) I looked at the TortoiseSVN Settings/Network tab and checked Enable
Proxy box, then entered the IP address of my SVN server in the
Exceptions box. But it won't save that without filling out the rest of
the proxy information.

We're doing this on XP Pro.

Am I doing this wrong or should I look elsewhere for the problem?
