[Subclipse-users] [Subclipse-users] Subeclipse not recognizing project checked out from the command line

I have subclipse 1.6.5 installed on a Linux box running debian.

I have JavaHL 1.6.3 installed and from what i can see in Window->Preferences
the library is being found correctly by subclipse.

I can open the "SVN Repository Exploring" perspective and browse svn
repositories without a problem.

I have a project that was checked out using a command line client and
imported into eclipse prior to my installing subclipse. The root folder of
this project contains a svn folder with the usual files (dir-prop-base,
entries prop-base, props, text-base...)

However my project is not controlled by subclipse. If i go to properties >
team i get the option to share the project....

Is their something in the svn files that subclipse does not understand.
