[Subclipse-users] Importing a project working copy from a zip file

Hey,

I tried to do the following: Check out a shared project with tortoise. I
can now import the project from within eclipse, but it isn't recognized
as a working copy. Is this simply not possible because eclipse/subclipse
rely on additional metadata to recognize a shared project? My use case
is basically to check out at work, take zip home, work there and create
patches, apply weekend patches at work.
