I do not completely understand what you are trying to do. I believe
the Directory Selection dialog just comes from SWT. In theory you
ought to be able to replicate its behavior using other plugins that
bring it up, such as the CVS checkout wizard and perhaps some dialogs
in Preferences.

You can only select one directory.
