[Subclipse-users] Why don't local files show in Package Explorer?

From: Moore, William <Joe.Moore_at_SDSTATE.EDU>

I created a local repository with command line SVN, checked it out, and changed a file. Since I'm not terribly familiar with SVN or Subversion, I made a few changes and committed it a few times. I then went back and reverted it (that one file) to a previous version and everything seemed to work properly.

The local files are all still on my hard drive, but only the folders and my one changed file show in Package explorer. I've Refreshed, Synchronized and done just about everything that I understand except redoing the checkout.

Note: I do have one warning associated with this branch:

Build path specifies execution environment J2SE-1.5. There are no JREs in the workspace strictly compatible with this environment.

However, since I'm not doing the builds from inside Eclipse, that seems rather moot. The project (happens to be uPortal), builds 'target' directories, and I went through and added the to svn:ignore before I saw this problem (or maybe my misunderstanding of the environment).

Help!

Thanks.
