[Subclipse-users] Fwd: Subclipse causes Eclipse crashes

Oops, sorry, it's actually this bug:
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6614100

On the Eclipse bug tracker, many have complained that Subclipse favours the occurrence of the crash in question. I couldn't agree more... :)

attached mail follows:

Hi,

I'm using Subclipse 1.4.4, Subversion Client Adapter 1.5.1 and JavaHL 1.5.2. The option "Compute deep outgoing state for folders" is set.
Almost every time a new file is created in a project directory from Eclipse or with outside tools, the IDE crashes without leaving any traces in the log file.
Likewise, the same "out of the blue" crash occurs when a non-versioned file is deleted from a project directory.

Sometimes things go well and this makes it it appear as a random crash. The SVN server is 1.5.1, should be incompatible with JavaHL 1.5.2. Or not?

Do you have any thoughts? It looks like a major bug.

Thanks.
