You are confusing the heck out of me :) I thought you just said
earlier that you do not hit the break point if you delete files.

cannot get it to stop inside that method on the generated code."

Hitting the Delete key should normally, run the hook, which in turn
will run svn delete. Which schedules the file for deletion.
