[Subclipse-users] Committing external (Word) files?

Hi,

I would like to add my design documents to Subversion. I make them in Word,
and I have included the documents in Eclipse (select project, file --> new
--> Folder, and file --> new --> File). But when I try to commit these new
documents to Subversion (subclipse), nothing happens.

When I select the project (with the directories containing the design
documents), and choose Team --> Commit, the documents and directories I
added are not visible in the 'Commit to: <server>' dialog.

Adding the documents and directories separately using Team --> Add to
version control is not possible either. 'Add to version control' is grayed
out.

I can't find what I'm doing wrong. So if you see what is going wrong, I
would be obliged.

TIA,
Abel

PS.
Eclipse Europe.
