RE: [Subclipse-users] Extracting action/affected paths/description information from History view

Hi Zach,

Thanks for the idea. For now, I was looking for a 'copy to clipboard'
feature to extract the info into an e-mail, editor, etc. We're new to SVN,
so we're trying to keep things simple on the server-side 'til we get the
kinks worked out and make our way up the learning curve. Later, when we're
a bit more familiar with the ins and outs of SVN, I can see how a script to
automate commit e-mails would definitely simplify things for me and our
group as a whole.

Regards,
Shaun

We have a post-commit hook that sends an email out to all relevant team
members after each commit, is this not what you're looking for? I
believe it's some sort of python or perl script that runs local to the
repository.

Cheers,
-Zach
