[Subclipse-users] Bug

From: Burton <spam_at_burtoncarl.com>
Date: 2007-12-01 17:38:38 CET

I thought for sure that this bug would have already been reported, but I
couldn't find it in the issue tracker.

I'm using Eclipse 3.3.1.1 with Subclipse 1.2.4

The SVN server is "some.server.com" running on port 3690
The path to my currently checked out project is
"svn://some.server.com:3690/svn/Project/trunk"

When I try to do an SVN switch with Subclipse to
"svn://some.server.com:3690/svn/Project/branches/branch"

I recieve the following message:

switch svn://some.server.com/svn/Project/branches/branch
/home/user/projects/Project -rHEAD
    svn: 'svn://some.server.com/svn/Project/branches/branch'
is not the same repository as
'svn://some.server.com:3690'

It appears that the port number is being forgotten somewhere along the way.
I see this behavior on both windows and linux platforms.
